Artist Rev. Kurt Fondriest is taking part in "The Artist In All" empowerment through art. An art fundraiser at the modern wing of the Art Institute of Chicago showcasing art created in the various art programs at Misericordia Home by the resident artists. Artist Kathleen Cool posted Cool Art is always available in the Andersonville Galleria 5247 N Clark, Chicago.

Artist Mary Jo Huck is participating in a 2-person show "Intimate Connections" March 1 through April 15th at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, First Floor, 927 Noyes St./ Evanston. Her work in the exhibition includes small and large oil paintings and mixed media works.

Artist Derin Baratka is exhibiting 3 of her paintings in the Window Gallery of the art center. If you haven't seen the exhibit yet, come by and take a look.

21st Annual Artists of the Wall Festival "Expressions of Light"

The Greenleaf Art Center participated in the 21st Annual Artists of the Wall Festival for 2015 on Saturday, June 20, 2015. This years theme was "Expressions of Light". The Artists of the Wall Festival brings together neighbors of all ages to collaborate on a 600 foot lakefront mural. The painted wall is accessible for year round viewing.

Participating in the fun this year were GAC Artists Niki Nolin, Suzi & Bob Barsale and Kathie Paluch. Artist Jennifer Kohnke painted her own spot right next to the art centers space and GAC artist Heather Gentile Collins brought her whole family to the beach to paint, pictured with her are husband Pat, Heather, daughters Lilly and Marley Collins. Heather's youngest Rosey is shown painting a dinosaur in the sand with Kathie's grand daughter Rory O'Neill.
